Welcome to our Math Class Needs a Makeover virtual study...I am so thankful that you are here! 

By the end of this course you will: 

• have a deeper understanding of the 8 mathematical teaching practices and reflect on productive and unproductive beliefs about teaching and learning math

• have a deeper understanding of the design principles and components of Illustrative Mathematics

• discover how some of our colleagues across the district are engaging their students with rich math experiences

• earn 6 clock hours AND 6 hours of extra services pay!  

I hope you find this course to be both inspiring and encouraging. I hope that you are challenged...in a good way! I hope that you walk away feeling optimistic and enthusiastic about our new math resource.
